One feature that Daylite users had been asking for is now present - repeating tasks. Hovering on a small graphical timeline to the left of the timeline detail allows you to quickly jump to a specific date, while filters create a way to grab only certain pieces of information - like emails associated with a project - while getting the others out of the way. My personal new favorite feature is the timeline, which provides a quickly scrolling list of project information and associated emails to give a history of what went on during a period of time. You can disable notifications at any time in your settings menu. Clicking on a bar chart drills into summaries, and dragging across a timeline allows even further focus on project details. The new Insight View is described as a "visual summary of your data" that "helps you discover patterns and answer questions about your business." By displaying a number of graphs on one screen, it's easy to see patterns appear and then make comparisons. What does the new version provide? A lot of refinement to an already polished set of apps.

Existing Daylite 4 users can update for $199.95, while Daylite 3 owners can make the jump for $249.95. Priced at US$299.95 per user, Daylite 5 includes licenses for the Mac, iPhone and iPad apps, as well as for the Mail Assistant (used to link Daylite and Mail) and Daylite Server.

So HA should really use the calibrated thresholds, just like it did before 2021.12.Marketcircle's Daylite has been around for a number of years, pulling in Best of Show awards at Macworld/iWorld and kudos from happy users. Sometimes I even tweak the sensitivity for existing sensors within the Hue app if other family members complain :) The light sensitivity within HA should always match the light sensitivity set on the Hue Bridge and that's why setting fixed lux levels within HA does not make sense. The next thing is that some of my motion-related automations are running on the Hue Bridge (for maximum availability) and only some are running within HA (where I need to toggle non-ZigBee lights). And HA does not show the calibrated thresholds in 2021.12.x any more anyway ( threshold_dark and threshold_offset are also missing) so there is no way to read the calibrated values. If the sensor falls below the threshold set by the slider the dark attribute comes true. It has a slider for setting the light sensitivity with live feedback. I have "calibrated" my motion sensors through the official Hue app. Why not just check the lux (or light) level yourself in your HA automations ?īecause I don't know the exact lux level. I could not get light_level_valid to change to false in any of my tests. HA is always showing light_level_valid as true when the older HA version is switching between dark true and false.
That new bool is equal to the previous "dark" attribute.
